1. Assist with the maintenance of an electronic information system such as BIS/SAP to maintain an appropriate stock level on hand.
2. Attend meetings to share information with others on warehouse operations, policies and procedures, safety, and/or maintenance.
3. Communicate program goals and objectives utilizing meetings or written memos to warehouse workers to establish work expectations.
4. Compare the receipt of incoming materials against bills of lading/packing slips to ensure accurate delivery of commodities requested.
5. Complete purchase documents, quotes, warehouse records, goodsreceived and goods-issued, and/or storeroom supply orders to track inventory.
6. Conduct periodic internal inspections of materials to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and directives.
7. Conduct training and safety programs for workers to provide instruction.
8. Create requisitions for supplies from various units to order departmental/organizational specific supplies.

13. Keep floors and storage areas clean and orderly to provide a safe working environment.
14. Track inventory records utilizing electronic information systems such as BIS/SAP.
15. Monitor incoming supplies to meet the industry standards.
16. Monitor the inspection of the physical condition of warehouse, warehouse vehicles, and/or equipment to ensure proper maintenance and repair is completed by utilizing work orders and inspection sheets.
17. Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move large supplies within a warehouse and/or outlying areas.
18. Operate larger box trucks to deliver supplies and equipment.
19. Prepare and maintain reports on supplies to ensure ongoing product quality.
20. Prepare areas for physical inventory by ensuring all receipts or goods issued are entered into an inventory log to prevent overstock of supplies and materials.
21. Prepare materials for delivery utilizing requisitions, material handling equipment, and/or delivery practices to meet demands.
22. Provide training to new warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate methods are used in warehousing functions and equipment usage.
23. Review and process electronic supply orders submitted for inventoried items and present any major concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
24. Store a wide variety of materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain an adequate stock.
25. Take and complete all appropriate forklift and driving safety courses to meet laws, regulations, and guidelines.
26. Unload all materials into the receiving department to ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection.
27. Physically deliver a wide variety of supplies and equipment to various units/departments to accommodate the needs of the organization.
28. Issue a wide variety of materials, supplies, and equipment to fulfill the needs of personnel and the department/organization.
29. Order a large volume of varied supplies, materials, and equipment to provide adequate quantities for a facility.
30. Receive a wide variety of materials, supplies, and/or equipment to restock and replenish throughout a(n) department/organization.
