Looking for a highly rewarding and challenging experience? – Well we are looking for you.  Come be a part of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) family where we focus on people first.  The Northern Facilities And Business Services Section (NFBSS) is seeking applicants for a vacant Staff Services Manager I (SSM I).  Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the incumbent will be responsible for all functions within the North Facilities Unit. The incumbant will supervise a team performing duties such as lease management, space planning, moving services, contract management, mail operations, and more.

Working Conditions

  • Position is located in a high-rise building.
  • Requires being in a stationary position consistent with office work for extended periods.
  • Standard office environment (for example artificial lighting and controlled temperature, etc.)
  • Daily use of a personal computer, office equipment, and/or telephone.
  • Travel between CARB headquarters and other office locations (including Southern California.  Occasional out of state travel may be required.
  • The incumbent must be available to work extra hours as necessary when business needs warrant.
