Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Administrative Oversight Section, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) performs a broad range of analytical functions for the Industrial Strategies Division (ISD). As the backup for ISD’s Budget/Contract and Personnel Liaisons, the SSA is knowledgeable of ISD’s contracts, personnel, procurement, and budget processes. The SSA serves as ISD’s assigned coordinator for records retention and ADA compliance forms, pay warrants, and division safety. Assignments include processing and tracking contract invoices, initiating and processing time reports for the division, processing and tracking ergonomic evaluations sent to AOS; and initiating facilities/space planning and telephone/IT requests as required for division personnel.

Working Conditions

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) office is located in the beautiful CalEPA building in downtown Sacramento.

Statement of Qualifications must include a response to each of the following: Describe your experience in the areas of contracts, procurement, personnel and budgets. Describe your experience with records retention procedures or other administrative organizational processes.

Describe a project or assignment that demonstrates your ability to perform analytical work. Describe your experience handling multiple deadlines simultaneously and provide detail on how you met those deadlines.
