Job Description and Duties

POSITION MAY BE EXTENDED OR BECOME PERMANENT

Under the direction of the District Director, the Administrative Officer is responsible for the following duties:

  • Estimates projected expenses and oversees the day-to-day maintenance of the district’s budget
  • Oversees district procurement processes
  • Provides daily supervision of staff assigned to administrative functions, personnel, vehicle, and on-site services for the district
  • Responsible for vehicle tracking, inspections, repairs, and maintenance
  • Works with appropriate staff to arrange for repair and upgrade of facilities as needed

Working Conditions

This position is located at the CCC Backcountry Trails Program Office located at 1315 4th Street, Eureka, CA 95501. 

This position supports two special programs that operate statewide, thus traveling using a state vehicle will be required at times.
