Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Office Services Supervisor (OSS) II, the Office Technician (Typing) OT(T), regularly performs a variety of the most difficult support duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in performing assigned tasks. The position requires sensitive public contact and/or independent origination of correspondence involving the knowledge and application of detailed regulations, policies and procedures. Good judgment and the ability to communicate effectively are of primary importance.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.

 

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
