Job Description and Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager I and/or Staff Services Manager II, this position will participate in the administration, development and implementation of the Sales and Use Tax Exclusion (STE) Program and other programs under the purview of the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA or the Authority) as necessary. The analyst has the responsibility of serving as a liaison and is required to be an STE subject-matter expert when working with stakeholders, other government entities, and various external parties.


CAEATFA, as part of the State Treasurer’s Office, is currently operating under a hybrid office/telework schedule. This may provide the incumbent teleworking opportunities.


This listing is also being advertised at the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) level at JC-428775. Candidates may apply at both levels.
