In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
• Willingness to travel throughout California up to 50% of time each month.
• Knowledge, familiarity, or experience with affordable housing or other local, state, or federal housing programs.
• Good math skills required for complex income calculations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with customer service experience to interact effectively with program users.
• Good multitasking and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail identifying document errors and/or property damage/deficiencies.
• Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience or skills conducting audits/inspections.
• Good analytical and research skills with ability to make recommendations.
• Ability to set priorities, resolve issues, and work well under pressure withing specific timelines and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of team.
