Interested applicants must submit a standard State Application Form (STD 678) and clearly indicate the basis of their eligibility in line Item 12 of the STD 678, AND submit a Statement of Qualifications. A Statement of Qualifications (not to exceed one page) is required to be submitted with the application detailing your interest in CDSS and how your education and experience would make you a good fit for the position, address the following:
1) Describe your experience analyzing and evaluating data. Use concrete examples.
2) Describe your experience working with stakeholders (federal, state and county agencies, advocates, legislative staff, community based organizations, etc.)
3) Describe your experience working as a part of a team.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for an appointment.
