The Program Manager I (PM I), under the direct supervision of the Program Manager II (Bureau Chief) of the Field Operations Unit, of the Disaster Services Branch (DSB), directs and manages the National Coordination
Unit within the Field Operations Bureau. The PM I manages cross-border agreements, formulates program and policy direction and highly complex alternatives, reviews technical work products of national-level and
federal partners, analyzes legislation having a statewide program impact, coordinates state-to-state
mass care trainings on an annual basis, and recommends legislative proposals, implementations, and strategic planning. The PM I also serves as a liaison and provides subject matter expertise and training to cross-state and national-level partners.
This position will report to the office 1-2 days per week.
This position will be located in Sacramento.
