- Ability to pay attention to detail when reviewing policies and legislation to effectively meet the objectives of management and the Admnistration.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Ability to effectively establish ans set priorities, assess the need for shifting priorities, and act accordingly.
- Ability to collbaorate and work effectively with other managers, staff, and maintain high performance standards, and encourage inter-reliance among team members.
- Experience in hiring, exams, recruitment, and classification and pay.
- Ability to remain flexible and complete time sensitive and high priority assignments with appropriate speed and urgency without sacrificing quality.
- Demonstrated ability to use interpersonal, networking and conflict resolution skills to effectively represent the needs and interests of CDSS' organization and leadership.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
