In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
• Knowledge and/or experience in geology, hydrogeology, groundwater, policy, regulatory, and water rights.
• Project experience in the areas of water, water resource, and/or resources management.
• Knowledge of or experience analyzing complex technical reports including hydrologic and hydrostratiqraphic reports, well logs, and environmental documents.
• Knowledge of or experience evaluating hydrologic models and model results including surface water, groundwater, and integrated models.
• Knowledge of or experience drafting technical memoranda, maps and figures, professional letters, and public notices.
• Knowledge of or experience summarizing and present technical analyses to management and decision makers.
Applicant should also have the ability to work both in a team environment and independently; effective communication skills (including the ability to interact with all levels of staff, management, and the public); good organizational and interpersonal skills.
