Working Conditions

• This position is located in the Riverpoint Marketplace area of West Sacramento near the IKEA. Our building offers a free parking lot to employees and is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops.

• This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE’s telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

•  Will be working at a computer in a cubicle under artificial light. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, pull and lift and/or transport objects.

• Travel (25%) may be required with possible overnight stays. Required to perform periodic off hours support in duty officer capacity including 24/7 emergency responses.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

This SOQ is requested to elicit information regarding each candidate's interest and

1) Describe why you are interested in this position and why you believe your technical experience makes you the most qualified candidate for the position.

2) What experience do you have with designing and deploying Public Cloud solutions such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), etc.? Explain how you would design a secure, scalable, and cost-effective architecture for a Public Cloud solution.

3) Describe your experience with implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in a Public Cloud such as Azure, AWS, etc. What are some key considerations and best practices you follow when setting up these pipelines?

4) Explain your experience with monitoring and logging in Public Cloud environments. What tools and strategies do you use to ensure the reliability and performance of the applications and infrastructures you managed?
