Job Description and Duties

The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting to fill a permanent, full-time Staff Services Analyst (SSA) position in the Legal Affairs Bureau.

POST may consider hiring at the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) level.

Working Conditions

This position is located at POST headquarters in West Sacramento, CA. The office is located in a two-story building with a business park setting.

Hybrid telework is available for employees who can satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely.

Telework eligibility is pursuant to Government Code section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. POST has a minimum in-office requirement of three days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.


Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position.
