About this Role:
The Assistant Deputy Director (ADD), Office of Strategic Partnerships (OSP), helps lead the planning, development, and implementation of large-scale Department initiatives that build new cross-sector strategic partnerships beyond Medi-Cal, including those with other departments, commercial insurers, and innovators in technology and philanthropy, such as the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), CalHOPE, Medi-Cal School-Based Services, and California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) Justice-Involved Initiative (JII).
In partnership with the OSP Deputy Director, the ADD, OSP, leads the Office’s operations, policy formulation, and administrative responsibilities and provides guidance to OSP team members.
The ADD, OSP, builds collaborative working relationships with and provides consultation to DHCS program partners and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, local, county, and state officials, law enforcement, education offices, health care providers, philanthropists, the state Legislature, and various community groups that represent children, youth, parents, caregivers, and schools.
The ADD, OSP, works under the general direction of the Deputy Director, OSP, and is a member of DHCS Senior and Executive Staff.
This position is subject to the Department's Conflict of Interest Code and filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) upon assuming office, annually by April 1, and upon leaving office.
