In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of and/or experience in:
(1) evaluation of managed aquifer recharge projects or projects that discharge wastewater to groundwater;
(2) analysis of project impacts on groundwater quality;
(3) source, transport, and fate of contaminants loaded to groundwater;
(4) evaluation of groundwater monitoring programs, well data, proposed hydrogeologic investigations, and engineering designs and plans;
(5) identification of appropriate groundwater monitoring and assessment techniques and suitability of groundwater models;
(6) geochemical evaluations and analysis;
(7) meeting facilitation, stakeholder outreach and coordination, and environmental negotiation.
Additional desirable qualifications include:
(1) ability to work independently and in cooperation with scientists, geologists, and engineers;
(2) promote partnerships with internal and external customers, follow through on commitments, and solicit and consider internal and external customer input when completing work assignments;
(3) excellent written and oral communication skills.
