This position is located in the Ventura Office.

The Field Operations Division (FOD) is looking for ambitious and driven individuals to join our audit team and help us accomplish our mission of making life better for Californians by fairly and efficiently collecting the revenue that supports essential services in our communities.

 

Join our FOD team as a Tax Auditor (TA), which is an entry level professional audit position a few of the following incentives:

As a TA, you will use your critical thinking skills and business acumen to manage audits effectively and efficiently. Your skills will be strengthened as you attend training classes, work with a mentor to develop audit plans, and perform audits. You will develop your communication skills by regularly meeting with taxpayers and their representatives to answer tax related inquiries, explain audit findings and reports.

 

Effective October 1st, Tax Auditors may be eligible for Recruitment Hiring Above Minimum (HAM) salary rate of $5,367 per month (Range A only).

 

Under Government Code 14200, this position may be eligible for part-time telework for eligible candidates residing in California. Team members are required to report to their headquarters office as needed.

Working Conditions

  • Position is located in a high-rise building.
  • Standard office environment.
