The State Water Resources Control Board’s Office of Research, Planning, and Performance has an opening for a Research Data Specialist II in the Water Conservation Unit. Join a team doing exciting work to implement a new way of managing urban water use in cities and towns across the state. You would lead efforts to evaluate water conservation impacts on water, wastewater, and recycled water systems, support the implementation of water conservation and efficiency actions and regulations, and serve as a resource to the unit for statistical analysis, survey design, data science, and quality assurance.

This is a hybrid position. It is eligible for, on average, three days of telework per week. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 13th Floor, Sacramento, CA, 95814 right in the heart of Downtown, next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
