The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of your experience and ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. The SOQ must be typed in Arial 12-point font and cannot exceed two pages. Failure to follow SOQ instructions may disqualify you from competing in this recruitment. In the SOQ, please:
• Describe your policy experience as it relates to analyzing legislation, regulation development, budget change proposals, trailer bill language, legislation proposals, development of department correspondence, or other policy assignments.
• Describe how your current and prior work experience qualify you for the position as it relates to the desired qualifications.
• Please describe your management philosophy and how you would meet the needs of your staff.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.
