Please note: this position is paid on an hourly basis and limited to 1500 hours per calendar year. The salary range for Scientific Aid is $17.73 – $21.04 per hour.

The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board has an opening for a Scientific Aid in the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Enforcement unit. The position is located at 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite #200, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670.
Duties: The Scientific Aid supports and assists the administrative and scientific staff by searching cleanup case documents, scanning case files, uploading case documents, distributing documents, communicating with the pubic, editing scientific staff enforcement letters, creating graphs and tables of scientific data, writing scientific memos, and writing letters to the public.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
