As an Information Technology Specialist I working for the Office of the Secretary you will have the opportunity to:

  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting wearing multiple hats any given day
  • Act as the lead ServiceNow administrator across CalEPA’s production, development, and test environments
  • Oversee and manage Information Technology Projects within CalEPA
  • Offer expert knowledge on backend technologies of the Microsoft Office365 platform, including administrative portals, ensuring system uptime, and managing license allocations/resources
  • Act as the subject matter expert and lead within the Video Collaboration Services team, by utilizing advanced technologies to facilitate video conferencing for both public and internal staff meetings
  • Lead the small support team, collaborating closely with security personnel, network experts, and solution architects to provide superior customer service and effective problem-solving to resolve customers' issues in a timely and efficient manner

1. Can you outline your experience and expertise in providing support for the ServiceNow platform, including specific examples of successful incident resolution, system optimizations, and your proficiency in addressing various modules within the platform?

2. How have you demonstrated proficiency in Service Desk support, and what specific skills and experiences qualify you to effectively handle incident resolution, user inquiries, and ensure optimal functionality within a Service Desk environment?

3. How do your qualifications and experience align with providing effective project management support? Can you provide examples of successfully overseeing projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of project goals within established parameters?
