A summary labeled “Statement of Qualifications” not to exceed three pages is required to be submitted with your application, detailing your interest in the California Department of Social Services and how your education and experience would make a good fit for the position. The Statement of Qualifications must address the following:
1. Technical experience working in a fiscal environment, including working with data, methodology development, and use of software and data systems, such as Excel and expenditure management database systems. Describe your level of proficiency and provide an example of a complex project you have completed and your role in that project.
2. Experience leading, facilitating, and presenting to high level audiences, such as executive staff or external oversight agencies. Provide an example.
3. Experience completing a cost per case analysis, cost/benefit analysis, or other fiscal research and evaluation. Provide an example.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.
