In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
• Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in State personnel-related programs, with an emphasis in personnel transactions and benefits administration
• Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, effectively manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff and external stakeholders
• Ability to independently research and analyze complex problems, draw sound conclusions, and make clear and concise recommendations
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply applicable laws, rules, and policies
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to use various essential business software including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, etc.
