As an Information Technology Specialist I you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as a functional administrator for ServiceNow using a high degree of independence and technical expertise in assisting customers with defining and identifying their business needs
  • Participate in regular Stakeholder meetings to discuss upcoming changes and issues to ServiceNow to ensure adherence to DTSC governance standards
  • Review proposed changes to ServiceNow and recommend approval or denial of changes
  • Provides production support and facilitates patches, updates, and configuration changes to ServiceNow
  • Support the Cloud Application Development Services Unit with researching, implementing, and developing a wide range of applications/modules within the ServiceNow platform as well as configuring custom integrations with other IT application services within the organization
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with customers to accurately design and implement workflows, edit workflows and ensure adherence to appropriate approvals and fulfillment

Desirable Qualifications We Look For:

  • Proven expertise in configuring and customizing modules such as ITSM, HAM/SAM, HRSD, S2P, and Employee Center, also skilled in building workflows, scripting, designing UI policies, developing catalog items, and creating custom applications
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, and MID Server configuration for seamless system integrations
  • Hands-on everything experience working within Agile development teams and utilizing DevOps tools to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Familiar with principles of human-centered design, plain language standards, and accessibility compliance to enhance user experience and usability
  • Solid understanding of security, governance, and compliance practices within SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Experienced in collaborating with stakeholders across all levels of an organization to align technical solutions with business goals
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA0, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
