Job Description and Duties

This position serves as Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Engineer and provides a wide variety of services in a team role related to drawing file management and CADD standards development, support, and training. This position functions as a member of a team that provides a wide variety of services related to CADD Standards Management and Implementation, Drawing File Management, Document Management, and Software Systems Development and Support. Services provided include, but are not limited to, drawing file management, engineering technology management and support, engineering support, CADD standards development and maintenance, CADD training, CADD consultant contract management, electronic file management and security, and end-user support.

Special Requirements

Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Position requires engineering training and experience in order to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

We are seeking candidates with experience managing and coordinating the development of Engineering Construction Contract Drawings within an electronic drawing file management system in a large-scale environment for multi-disciplinary projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and implementing CADD Standards for Development of Engineering Construction Contract Drawings in a large-scale environment for multi-disciplinary projects. In addition, this candidate will also have experience supporting design engineers in the development of Engineering Construction Contract Drawings with respect to established drawing file standards. Experience with Bentley ProjectWise, Adobe Acrobat DC, and the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook are of critical importance.
