• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and financing policies and initiatives that affect the Medicaid and/or California’s Medi-Cal programs.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze program issues from the lens of broader policy perspectives.
• Demonstrated ability to review and draw conclusions from quantitative data, including awareness of data limitations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead efforts with stakeholders to ensure timely processing and approvals.
• Demonstrated ability to make planned and impromptu presentations before groups on diverse, complex, and sensitive subjects.
• Demonstrated ability to condense and present complex, sensitive, and/or technical information to executives and other audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively across high levels of government and representatives from local, state, and federal providers, partners, and organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and transformation efforts within and outside the organization, using excellent communication and change management strategies.
