Under the administrative direction of the Directorate, Employment Development Department (EDD), the Deputy Director, Administration Branch plans, organizes, facilitates, and evaluates the activities of the Administration Branch consisting of the following divisions:
Business Operations Planning and Support Division administers EDD’s facilities, procurement and contracts, mail policy and processing, document design and production, conference planning and transportation services.
Fiscal Programs Division represents the Department in all financial matters with state and federal agencies, develops recommendations to EDD management for policies and procedures regarding budget and disbursement, accounting systems, and overall accountability for the Department’s funds.
Human Resource Services Division administers EDD’s hiring, payroll, management and staff training, health and safety, adverse actions, civil service testing, Workers’ Compensation, position allocation, employee benefits, employee assistance, and medical programs.
Document Management Division consolidates the department’s mail, document design, production, and imaging resources to support EDD’s various tax collection, benefit and employment services.
