Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), Administration and Transportation Management branch, the incumbent acts as the Human Resources Analyst for the Division of Business Services and Division of Human Resources (DBS/DHR) responsible for performing a variety of analytical staff services assignments in the areas of personnel administration, program control, and performs special assignments.

Division of Business Services, Administration and Transportation Management Branch, Sacramento

We are seeking a candidate with the following skillset and experience: demonstrable analytical/research skills for quantitative data and policy, customer service skills, experience in the interpretation governmental code and policy, experience in data analysis and identifying statistical trends, experience in preparing reports, memos, or issue papers, organizational and time management skills, written and verbal communication skills especially with peers and business partners, skills in time management, multitasking, and the ability to accomplish tasks given short deadlines, experience in working independently and collaboratively as part of a group, experience in facilitating meetings and presentations, project management skills, experience in HR staffing, recruiting, and onboarding, understanding of and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.), experience navigating and using the SharePoint platform, and experience in SAP or similar enterprise resource software.
