Job Description and Duties

          Under the Events Operations Manager, the HR professional will play a key role in enhancing State Fund’s culture by planning and executing in-person employee events, supporting strategic initiatives and building programs that drive connection and employee experience across the organization. This role requires a high level of organization, creativity and initiative as well as the ability to deliver high quality results while managing competing deadlines.

          Desired Skills:
          • Ability to plan, manage and execute multiple events and projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines
          • Knowledge of event management principals, practices, and logistics coordination
          • Highly adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Zoom, and various apps/technology/software
          • Knowledge of enterprise engagement and connection strategies and trends.
          • Strong project management and presentation skills with proven track record to follow through and deliver quality results
          • Proven ability to assess and understand issues, interpret policies or data, and quickly identify the best possible solution(s)
          • Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and ability to gain consensus/cooperation of others
          • Superb interpersonal skills; collaborates and creates with others through vision, prioritization, and detailed execution
          • Demonstrated ability to act independently while exercising sound judgment, flexibility, patience, tact, and diplomacy

                      Special Requirements
