We’re hiring a dedicated and skilled individual to help maintain and protect some of Monterey County’s most beautiful public lands, including the Elkhorn Slough Reserve and Moss Landing Wildlife Area.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for patrolling and maintaining natural areas, performing light maintenance, and keeping trails, facilities, and landscapes clean and safe for public enjoyment. Tasks include patrolling properties, repairing fences, trimming vegetation, managing waste disposal, cleaning public areas and restrooms, mowing and weed removal, and performing minor upkeep on public lands and on-site facilities.

If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and want to contribute to the stewardship of California’s natural resources, we’d love to hear from you!
