Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
The SOQ is a required document and should be in 12-point font and no longer than two pages in length. Applications received without the SOQ will not be considered.
In your SOQ response, please address the following four questions:
1. Describe your experience supervising staff engaged in classification and pay work. Please include: The size and classification levels of staff supervised, your approach to workload management, coaching, and quality control, and how you ensure consistency and accuracy in classification and pay determinations.
2. Describe your demonstrated experience in building highly effective and customer service-oriented teams, facilitating collaboration and teamwork, and supporting constructive resolution of conflicts.
3. Describe your leadership and communication styles and how you foster positive working relationships within your team and with external partners to enhance organizational effectiveness.
4. How have you promoted diversity and inclusion within your teams? Can you provide examples of initiatives you have implemented to foster an inclusive work environment?
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) are read and serves as a documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing.
