• Ability to supervise or lead teams, provide coaching, assign workloads, monitor performance, and foster professional growth in procurement and business operations
• Knowledge of state procurement laws, policies, and processes, including solicitation development, contract administration, and risk mitigation
• Experience creating, communicating, and implementing internal procedures and controls, aligned with procurement policies, and compliance frameworks to meet audit and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with Small Business/Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise
(SB/DVBE) advocacy, reporting, and participation requirements
• Ability to manage facilities-related procurement, service contracts, space planning, and vendor performance in compliance with state standards
• Skill in overseeing forms development, records retention schedules, and compliance reporting to ensure audit readiness
• Experience supporting emergency preparedness and continuity planning for business operations, including drills and corrective actions
• Capacity to identify operational risks, develop solutions, and implement corrective measures to maintain compliance and efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to stay current with procurement and contracting requirements, complete mandated trainings, and ensure team compliance
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and with internal and external stakeholders to advance organizational priorities.
