This examination will consist of a review by an Executive Screening Committee of each candidate's Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and application package. The SOQ is a narrative document that addresses specific Desirable Qualification statements, which are aligned with the requirements for the position. The SOQ must demonstrate the candidate’s education, training, experience, and skills relevant to each Desirable Qualification. The SOQ serves as the examination for this position and will be the only basis for determining the candidate’s final score and rank on the eligible list. Candidates will be competitively ranked based on their qualifications, using predetermined evaluation criteria aligned with the Desirable Qualifications for the position.
SOQ Format and Content Requirements:
- Length: No more than four (4) pages
- Font: Typed in 12-point Arial font
- Title/Header: The document must be titled at the top of the first page as follows: "Statement of Qualifications-[Your Full Name]"
- Structure:
- Restate each Desirable Qualification (DQ) statement in the same order and exactly as written in the job posting. Do NOT summarize, shorten, or paraphrase the DQ statement.
- Number each response accordingly.
- After numbering and restating the DQ statement, write your narrative response directly underneath it.
- Provide specific examples of your relevant experience for each DQ statement.
- Your response must include the overall length of experience related to each DQ statement (e.g., "Over five years of experience in......").
If you meet the requirements stated in this announcement, you may take this competitive examination. Possession of the Examination

A minimum rating of 70% must be attained in the Examination to obtain list eligibility for this position. All candidates will receive
written notification of their examination results.
The results of this examination will only be used to fill this position. Applications will be retained for twelve months.
Hiring interviews for the Job may be conducted with the most qualified candidates.
