The ideal candidate will:
• have knowledge and an understanding of managed health care,
• have excellent documentation and organizational skills,
• have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with stakeholders,
• have excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in communicating data elements in a concise manner understandable to a wide audience.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
• experience with health care data, especially with the International Classification of Diseases, the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System, and Current Procedure Terminology codes,
• experience developing and maintaining data standards,
• experience performing data validation or data quality checks on qualitative data,
• intermediate skills in Excel and beginner skills in SQL.
