In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
• have knowledge and an understanding of managed health care,
• have excellent problem-solving skills, especially in framing business problems in analytical terms amenable to data analysis,
• have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with stakeholders, and
• have excellent data storytelling skills, especially in using embedded Power BI dashboards.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
• experience working with demographic, geographic, and health care data, especially in the context of health equity, Health Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures, or the social determinants of health,
• experience developing novel methods for analyzing and presenting data, especially in the context of health equity or managed health care, and
• intermediate or advanced skills in data analytic tools, including Excel, SQL, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI.
