The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Applications without the SOQ or with an SOQ that does not follow the instructions listed below may be disqualified. A complete application package that does not conform to these instructions/requirements may also be disqualified.
- SOQ must be typed and limited to three pages, in font not smaller than size 12 Arial font and 1" margins.

SOQ Questions: - Describe your managerial experience leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for administrative services or operations management. Provide examples of how you achieved mission-oriented goals while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented team culture.
- Describe your managerial experience developing and implementing workforce development plans for an organization, to include alignment with a strategic plan, applying operational plans, and measuring progress toward achieving goals with frameworks like Objectives and Key Results. Provide examples with outcomes.
- Describe your managerial experience in representing an organization to engage partners and stakeholders including other state agencies, state control agencies, legislative staff, other government or industry organizations. Provide examples of how you effectively communicate complex operational, administrative or financial topics.
- Describe your managerial experience defining operational or business problems and problem solving with practical solutions to achieve positive outcomes. Provide examples of challenges with solutions and the results.

Qualifications requirements does not assure a place on the eligible list. Your performance in the examination will be compared with
the performance of others who take this examination, and all successful candidates will be ranked according to their scores.
A minimum rating of 70% must be attained in the Examination to obtain list eligibility for this position. All candidates will receive
written notification of their examination results.
The results of this examination will only be used to fill this position. Applications will be retained for twelve months.
