SUPERVISOR I – SANTA CRUZ DISTRICT / ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES / DISTRICT OFFICE
The reporting location for this position is at the District Office located at Henry Cowell Redwoods SP, 303 Big Trees Park Rd, Felton, Ca 95018. This position will work under the general direction of Supervisor II.
The Supervisor I is the front-line supervisor for the Santa Cruz District Administrative Services team. This position directly supervises the Districts Personnel, Contracting, Accounting, front office staff and provides administrative support to all field admin staff. This position serves as the subject matter expert on all Personnel related issues and will also oversee the Districts Business Management Services and Concessions program. The Supervisor I may act in the capacity as the District Administrative Services Chief upon request.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing LiveScan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.

Special Requirement/Condition of Employment: Depending on the assigned location, the incumbent may be required to occupy state-owned housing to meet operational needs, or may be offered state-owned housing if available. Housing assignments will be determined in accordance with Department policy, operational priorities, and applicable labor agreements.
