The CDPH Office of Compliance (OOC) leads department-wide efforts to ensure accountability, integrity, and the department’s compliance with state and federal requirements. The OOC administers the department’s internal audit program, facilitates external audit activities, conducts whistleblower investigations, and subrecipient audits of various federal grant funds. The OOC also manages the department’s Equal Employment Opportunity Program and Workplace Violence Prevention Program, and conducts investigations related to discrimination, harassment, workplace violence, retaliation and denials of reasonable accommodations. The office also supports enterprise risk and compliance management activities for the department. The Support and Accountability Unit (SAU) within the OOC provides centralized administrative and operational support to ensure effective coordination and execution of activities across the OOC.
