The Delta Stewardship Council (Council) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Analyst III to serve as its Equity & Engagement Specialist, a key role dedicated to advancing the Council’s mission through strategic external engagement, Tribal relations, and leadership of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) initiatives.
Reporting to the Environmental Program Manager I, this position leads collaborative efforts with community partners and interagency networks, develops data informed outreach materials, and ensures equity and accessibility are integrated throughout Council operations.
In addition, as the Council’s Tribal Liaison, reporting directly to the Executive Officer, the Equity & Engagement Specialist will cultivate meaningful government-to-government relationships and support the thoughtful incorporation of Traditional Ecological Knowledge into agency programs and processes.
