In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
1. Experience in managed care models
2. Coursework and/or training in managed care models
3. Experience in researching and applying health care laws, regulations, and policies
4. Coursework and/or training in health care law
5. Experience in CA administrative law consistent with the Administrative Procedures Act
6. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and implementing pending and newly enacted legislation
7. Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and short term deadlines, with great attention to detail
8. Experience working as a licensed attorney in public and/or private sectors
9. Proficient knowledge of the English including spelling, grammar, and organization
