Under supervision of the Riverside District Office Manager, the Staff Services Analyst performs a wide variety of analytical duties for the Registration and Titling (R&T) Program and the Business Customer Section. The incumbent provides consultation services to the public, management, and staff within the Division on R&T needs.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)

Interested individuals must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in addition to the standard state application (form STD 678). Your SOQ will be considered the first interview for this position. If your qualifications are competitive, you will be invited to a formal interview. Resumes, cover letters, or any other documents cannot substitute the SOQ. When completing the SOQ, number your responses, include all relevant experience, education, and training, as applicable, and explain all answers thoroughly. Your SOQ should not exceed two pages, single-spaced, Arial 12-point font and address the following:

  1. Describe your experience interpreting procedure, regulation, and/or applicable law and relaying the information to a customer or staff member.
  2. Describe a time you were able to assist a dissatisfied customer, and what steps you took to resolve the situation.
