STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ)
A Statement of Qualifications is required to be considered for this position. The SOQ is a narrative discussion of your education, training, experience and skills as it relates to the desirable qualifications. The SOQ serves as a documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely and should be typed. Resumes do not take the place of the Statement of Qualifications. Applicants who fail to submit the required SOQ may be eliminated from the hiring process.
Instructions:
Your response to the SOQ should be no more than one (1) page in length, and should be formatted with a font of 11pt Arial, and margins on the top, bottom and sides of the pages of no less than ¾ of an inch. The page should include your name with “Statement of Qualifications” appearing below it in the page header, and the header contents should be centered. Each candidate’s Statement of Qualifications should describe your IT Work Experience with detail of the type of technical, operational, or system development/maintenance experience.
1. Provide a specific work assignment/project that you completed and demonstrated your ability to plan the work, complete the work as planned, research and solve technical problems.
