The Facilities unit administers all Facilities Services-related programs and operational activities for all CPUC and DDTP offices.

Required Experience/Qualifications

The candidate selected for the position should have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas:

  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to lead, plan, organize and coordinate projects and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong expertise and ability for applying the principles of a state processes; interpreting laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication (both written and oral), leadership, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Must have a strong mix of experience and knowledge of the government procedures and manuals similar to those of Department of General Services and researching State/government statues.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Department-wide policies, procedures, and projects; create supporting documentation, including instructional and promotional materials.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently, open-mindedness, flexibility, and tact.
  • Has experience with researching and reporting facilities issues.
  • Has experience with tracking, creating internal websites and other departmental communication memos.
