Job Description and Duties

Effective July 1, 2020, State employees are subject to a 9.23% salary reduction, not included in the current salary, in exchange for up to 16 hours of the Personal Leave Program 2020 (PLP 2020) per month.

 

Department of Water Resources (DWR) is recruiting for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join its SAP Logistics and HR Functional Analysis unit. The Senior SAP Solutions Analyst joins one of the most talented and progressive IT shops in CA state government to provide expert level support of the Department’s state of the art SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.  If you’re up for the challenge, apply within and tell us more about yourself.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Extensive experience working in SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong functional knowledge backed by demonstrable work experience in SAP Budgeting and Planning for the Public Sector or other enterprise budget and planning applications
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other enterprise application technical environments
  • Creative thinker with a demonstrated history of applying excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills to solving complex problems
  • Ability to effectively complete competing workloads and projects in a timely manner
