Job Description and Duties

The California Community Colleges, the largest system of higher education in the nation serving 2.1 million students, seeks Public Information officer to handle media affairs and write and edit content in English and Spanish 

Under the general direction of the director of communications, the incumbent will coordinate assigned statewide marketing campaigns that support 2.1 million community college students. The incumbent will perform a variety of complex communications and communications duties with a high degree of responsibility and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and clients, contracted advertising agencies and management.

Working Conditions

  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner to a diverse audience in both English & Spanish.
