Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the San Bernardino DMV Industry Business Center (IBC).

The San Bernardino IDMV IBC is seeking an enthusiastic team player. The Control Cashier I in a Grade III field office is responsible for receiving, auditing, and transmitting work, as well as timely bank deposit preparation for fees collected; assigning and tracking all inventory to the office and up to 9 Automobile Clubs; upward mobility training; completing required monthly, quarterly and annual reports; and other duties as required. The incumbent will be a part of a collaborative team, built on respect, integrity, honesty and accuracy.

Desirable qualifications: technical knowledge in Vehicle Registration policies and procedures; possess excellent cash handling skills; knowledge of General Auditing Principles; mathematical and cashiering skills; ability to act independently; well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers; ability to act as a liaison with Automobile Clubs; ability to adjust to a changing work environment; dependable; and punctual.
