Job Description and Duties

The Department of Social Services (CDSS) is looking for Research Data Supervisor Is (RDS I) in several of its programs to help build and implement the innovative public policy projects that address the State’s social issues plaguing our communities. CDSS is a department that fosters and drives innovative public policy projects that address the social issues plaguing our communities statewide. Our teams do their daily work with a work environment where collaborative and proactive problem solving is strongly encouraged.

Working Conditions

This work location is very convenient!  The CDSS is located two blocks from the light rail and public transportation; within walking distance to the State Capitol, parks, restaurants, farmer’s markets and the Golden 1 Arena. We offer an onsite cafeteria, onsite Golden 1 ATM, workout room and onsite day care services. Our building has easy access to I-5, Highway 50 and Highway 80.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are considered limited term, 12 months, and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
