Caseworkers Region A - Two regional Caseworker Analyst positions will be required to service the following counties: Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Inyo, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Madera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Momo, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba.
Caseworkers Region B - Three regional Caseworker Analyst positions will be required to service the following counties: San Luis Obispo, Kern, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego and Imperial.
Under the direction of the Program & Project Supervisor, the Caseworker Analyst (AGPA) will work with policy and technical team members to engage with local governments, joint power authorities and other entities to assess the need for broadband infrastructure to provide internet and data services in unserved and underserved areas in California. The Casework Analyst will be assigned by regions made up of counties. Two Analysts will be assigned to Region A, the counties north of San Luis Obispo, Kern and San Bernardino Counties. Three Analysts will be assigned to Region B, which includes counties south of San Luis Obispo, Kern, and San Bernardino Counties. Each Analyst will conduct outreach efforts within a designated region of the state by presenting information about the Broadband For All program to government entities, businesses, non-profits, the public and service providers. The incumbent will identify broadband deployment and adoption needs within a region of the state and work with other staff members of the broadband team and prospective grantees to facilitate the provisioning of grant funding and support the process as the broadband projects are built.
