This position is with the Licensing Program of the Medical Board of California. Consumer protection is at the forefront of the decisions we make day to day and year to year. Together, we protect health care consumers through the proper licensing and regulation of physicians and surgeons and certain allied health care professionals and through the vigorous, objective enforcement of the Medical Practice Act, and promote access to quality medical care through the Board's licensing and regulatory functions.
In this position you will work with appointed board members, executives, managers, US/Canadian and international medical schools, postgraduate training program directors, state licensing entities, the Office of the Attorney General, and consumers to determine if applicants meet statutory and regulatory requirements, resolve stakeholder issues, and provide them relevant information.
