In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
1. Senior and/or Executive level management: 10 or more years of experience in overseeing multiple Information Technology (IT) domains. Such as: Business Technology Management, Client Services, Information Security Engineering, Information Technology Project management, Software Engineering and/or System Engineering.
2. Budget, contract and policy oversight: 5 or more years of experience managing $10M or above in IT budgets and contracts.
3. Experience in the implementation and management of a multi-million-dollar large-scale IT automation projects that spanned multiple years.
4. Experience using different strategies and techniques for soliciting input from an organizational division and communicating critical program and/or policy changes in an expeditious manner; working with a variety of individuals including governmental and/or industry groups using excellent interpersonal skills to provide effective verbal and written communication to present information logically, clearly, and concisely.
5. Experience managing teams of 25 or more of multidisciplinary professional and administrative staff.
STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ)
A "Statement of Qualifications" is a MANDATORY requirement in order to apply for this position, A SOQ is a narrative discussion of how the candidate's education, training, experience, and skills meet the minimum and desirable qualifications and qualify them for the position.
The SOQ will be used to evaluate your education and experience as it relates to the “Desirable Qualifications” listed above. Candidates should ensure they are thorough when describing their experience relative to the areas described. It may also serve as documentation of the candidate's abilities to present information clearly and concisely in writing, since this is a critical factor to successful job performance.
SOQ INSTRUCTIONS:
