Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications for at least one (1) Permanent, Full-Time Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA). The vacancy exists in the Facility Operations Department and is under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I.
The incumbent will be responsible for processing and handling various Facility Operations Fiscal Compliance, Department Compliance, Contract Administration, and handle General Office Duty task. Duties include but are not limited to the following: respond verbally and in writing to various levels of hospital staff and outside contacts; perform various Facility Management administrative complex analytical, technical, and statistical assignments; research and data gathering; presentations; maintain accurate recordkeeping; develop and maintaining reports; design and prepare tables, spreadsheets, templates, graphs and charts; adhere to contract and procurement requirements, understand legal terminology, data analysis, and ability to provide consultative and analytical analysis and formulation; perform contact administration; required to apply laws, rules, regulations, and contract provisions concerning contracting and procurement transactions; fiscal tracking, monitoring, and processing; contract detail maintenance; independently interpret and use reference material; give and follow directions; provide general office support and back up to other office incumbents; perform professional customer service at all times; give and follow directions; serve in a lead capacity over other administrative support staff if needed; work well independently or as a team.
Incumbents must have excellent oral and written communications skills; be methodical, precise, and demonstrate good work principles, display strong analytical and statistical abilities; possess excellent problem solving; ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. The incumbent must also have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; be dependable; maintain good attendance; able to follow directions; excellent organizational and time management skills; ability work independently or as part of a team; complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines; be able to work with others and promote and maintain positive and effective work relationships; work with all levels of hospital management, DSH Headquarters, other control agencies as appropriate, ability to collaborate with shops, other disciplines and contractors in coordination of project work. Incumbents will also collaborate as a team member and interact and consult with other analysts, professionals, and technical staff when necessary to fulfill the needs of the Hospital.
Desired Qualifications: Proficiency and ability to work with a variety of computer software performing the more complicated tasks utilizing various computer applications such as Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access software, and other applicable software.
